Tasmanian Punk Hardcore veterans Knife Hands are lining up a huge show of Punk Rock and Hardcore for their 10th birthday this May!
Knife Hands 10 Year Anniversary Show
Playing their first show in April 2013 at the now legendary All Tomorrow’s Shoeys fest, Knife Hands have continued to build a loyal and committed fan base thanks to their fast paced, high energy live show and uncompromising DIY work ethic.
Fresh from their recent national tour with New Bedford’s favourite sons, A Wilhelm Scream (USA), the Hobart based five piece are celebrating their 10 year milestone by inviting bands from around the big island to play in their hometown.
Joining them will be Melbourne Hardcore juggernaut Outright, Sydney Thrash Punk fiends Idle Threat, as well as up and coming local bands Woolworths Flu Shot and The Venus Figurines.
“This show for us was about getting a bunch of our friends bands together, bands we wanted our audience to see, which also gave us a chance to debut some new songs and have a real nice time!”
Stated vocalist Mischa Calcagno, “We’ve been lucky enough to keep this thing going ten years so we wanted to bring a line up together that we were stoked on and think our friends and fans would be stoked on as well”.
Knife Hands will celebrate Ten Fucking Years on Friday May 26th at Altar in Hobart.
Tickets are on sale Friday April 21st through www.knifehands.com.au or the Altar Oztix landing page.
